Eco Eyewear | The Specialists Aruba - My Story

All right so today I am sharing my story of how I finally switched to a new pair of optical frames from The Specialists. This post is not so much about fashion today but hey your vision is important too so read up.

Remember how I said I was going to share the end results in my previous post? Well here it is!

The Iona Eco Eyewear optical frame first got my attention because of its duo optical/sunglass clip-on feature, its cat-eye shape, and its one of a kind color, so what was not to like really?

So after 15 years (yes, 15 years👀, I decided I was time to trade in my old beat up optical frames for a fresh new pair). I made an appointment at The Specialists for my eye exam (which fyi- I was really nervous about because my vision is literally the worse). The optometrist, Mr. Bert was super friendly and knowledgeable and I even learned a few things about my eyes, like I have astigmatism for example, who knew?!

After my appointment it was time for the waiting game. I felt so excited and eager for my new frames to be ready. A few weeks ago on a Saturday morning, I got the call to pick them up and was so ecstatic. I tried them on and ever since my life has changed, no joke. The Specialists even hooked me up with a blue light filter, because girl (or boy), when you spend a lot of time looking at a computer screen like me, you need this in your life.

Best part about this whole thing is that I am finally able to give my eyes the rest they deserve and need because I was just living in contacts day in day out. Bonus? I'm also able to save some money because I'm not buying contacts as much (and saving money is GOALS these days as you can imagine).
